Dutch Pro Remodeling & Handyman LLC (“Dutch Pro,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you visit our website or contact us about a project, how we use it, and what choices you have.

Information you give us

When you fill out our quote request form or contact us by email, phone, or text, you may provide:

• Phone number and email address
• Your project address or general neighborhood
• Details about the work you’re considering, including budget and timeline
• Any other details you choose to share in your message

You only share what you choose to share. We don’t ask for sensitive information like Social Security numbers, bank account details, or credit card numbers through our website. If we ever need payment information, we collect it through a secure third-party processor (Square) — never through this site directly.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we collect basic technical information when you visit:

• Your IP address and approximate geographic location
• Your browser type, device type, and operating system
• Pages you visit, how long you stay, and how you arrived (search engine, direct link, referral)
• Standard server log information

This data is collected through our hosting provider’s analytics and through Google Analytics, if active. It helps us understand which pages are useful, fix problems, and improve the site over time. It is not used to identify you personally.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide for the following reasons:

• To respond to your inquiry. If you submit a quote request or contact form, we’ll use your contact information to reach back out about your project.
• To provide our services. If you become a customer, we use your information to schedule work, communicate during the project, send invoices, and follow up on warranty or service issues.
• To improve our website. Aggregate analytics help us understand which content is helpful and where the site can be better.
• To comply with legal obligations. We may retain records (invoices, contracts, communications) as required by tax law, contractor licensing requirements, or warranty obligations.

• Dutch Pro staff — David VanDevender (owner) and the crew members assigned to your project, on a need-to-know basis.
• Service providers we use to run our business — for example, our website host (SiteGround), email service, and payment processor (Square). These providers have their own privacy practices and only access information needed to provide their service to us.
• Government or legal authorities — if required by law, court order, or to enforce our contracts.

We do not transfer or sell customer data to third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies and tracking

Our website uses cookies — small text files stored in your browser — to help the site function properly and to gather basic analytics. Cookies on our site fall into a few categories:

• Essential cookies — required for the site to work (for example, remembering form input as you fill it out).

Reviews and testimonials

If you leave us a review on Google, Thumbtack, or another platform, that review is governed by the privacy practices of that platform — not by this policy. We may quote or reference your review on our website, in which case we’ll typically use only a first name and last initial unless you’ve explicitly given permission to use your full name.

Children’s privacy

Our services and website are intended for adults — homeowners and property managers. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we’ll delete it.

Data retention

We keep customer information as long as it’s needed for the project, for warranty support, and to comply with legal and tax requirements. Inquiry information from people who don’t become customers is typically kept for one to two years and then deleted.

Your rights

You can:

• Ask what information we have about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Opt out of any future marketing communications

We use reasonable measures to protect the information you share — including HTTPS encryption on the website, a security plugin (Wordfence) to monitor for threats, and limited access to customer information within our team. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. For significant changes, we’ll add a notice on the website. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
